Worth a thousand words

Those of you who are familiar with the Creating Connection research and recommendations know that when we express ourselves creatively or experience something creative, we create deeper connections with our friends and family, with others in our communities, with ourselves, and with our identities. And in turn, these experiences contribute to our happiness and well-being, provide new opportunities to learn and grow, and offer a platform to express and experience new voices.

Like a good photograph, a recent article from National Geographic conveys all that sentiment with minimal words and impressive impact.

Read on to discover how National Geographic photographers are helping young refugees tell their stories, find common ground amid global issues of displacement, and connect through photography and empathy.
